Projects within a job
A job's Project view brings its related documents, expenses, and financial summary together. Open the saved job and move to its project page to see the wider piece of client work.
This is the same project context used from other linked records. Opening a quote or invoice from the panel does not create a separate copy of the project.
Find connected work
Use the document cards to open related jobs, quotes, invoices, and credit notes. Where available, the project also shows the originating lead. Check each card's status, then open the document for its full details and actions.
A return visit can remain part of the same job. A separate new job can belong to the same project when it is additional work that needs its own job record. See Schedule jobs and visits before creating another job just to add a visit.
Continue after the job
Use Add Document and choose the available job, quote, or invoice action. The creation flow carries the project context into the new record. Review the client, copied details, schedule, amounts, and recipient before saving or sending.
Completing this job does not automatically issue an invoice. Likewise, creating an invoice does not complete other jobs in the project.
Expenses and summary
When available, the project page also shows linked expenses and a financial summary. Linking a purchase tracks a cost; adding it as an invoice line is a separate action. The summary uses related document values, not the job's scheduled hours as revenue.
