Recurring jobs
Use a recurring job for work that follows one repeating schedule, such as a weekly maintenance visit. Use a one-off job with multiple visits when you need different attendances for the same piece of work.
Set up repeating work
- Create a job with its client, location, contact, and instructions.
- Choose the first visit's date, timing mode, and duration.
- Set Repeating to the interval you need.
- Add an End Date if the arrangement should stop.
- Review availability and the email options, then confirm creation.
A recurring job requires an initial schedule. It uses one repeating visit pattern, not several independent visit times. The repeat picker provides supported intervals and custom repeat choices where available.
Conflicts
TREVY checks the recurring schedule for conflicts. If the first visit conflicts, change its date, time, or interval. If a later occurrence conflicts, the app may limit the end date to the last conflict-free visit. Read the result before saving rather than assuming the series was booked indefinitely.
Future previews and existing jobs
Future recurring occurrences can appear as previews in planning views. As occurrences become actual jobs, they have their own progress and work records. A preview is not a completed booking record with time logs or uploaded evidence.
Completing a job records that occurrence's work. It does not complete every future visit in the series.
Change the series
Open the recurring management screen from the recurring context. Review the client and location, Date & Time, Repeat, End Date, and communication options. Tap Save Changes, then review the update confirmation and whether to email the customer.
The series screen updates future scheduling. To move one visit or correct one job, use that job's own actions instead. Check future dates after a series change, particularly when availability limits its end date.
To end repeating work, review and save an appropriate End Date on the series. Cancelling an individual job and ending the recurring arrangement are different decisions.
Very frequent repeats have reminder restrictions. See Booking communications before promising an email for every occurrence.
