Booking communications

Job emails help keep customers informed about bookings and changes. Check the job's Primary Contact and Email to before sending: the recipient recorded for this job may differ from the client's general email address.

Booking emails

During creation, use Booking Email to choose whether to send a booking confirmation. Review the selected schedule and recipient before confirming the job. Saved jobs also provide applicable preview and email actions.

A booking email communicates the appointment. It is separate from a quote, invoice, or an internal job note. For fixed appointments, the customer-facing time can include the arrival window you selected.

When editing a schedule or cancelling work, read the action's email choice. The app offers review-and-send flows for supported changes, and some actions let you proceed without emailing. Saving an internal edit should not be treated as proof that the customer was notified.

Reminder emails

Reminder Email controls eligible day-before reminders. TREVY may suppress a reminder when the job starts too soon or a booking was recently created or changed, to avoid sending near-duplicate messages.

In particular, a booking made or changed within the last 24 hours may not get another reminder. Very frequent recurring visits, such as daily repeats every one to five days, do not receive day-before reminders.

For a job with multiple visits, reminder eligibility uses the first upcoming visit. Do not expect a separate day-before reminder for every extra visit on that job. Check the helper message if a reminder switch is unavailable.

Let clients request rescheduling

Enable Allow Reschedule to let the client request a different time from supported booking or reminder emails. A request does not automatically move the job or rewrite a recurring series.

Open the affected visit to review the request and the customer's note. Use Reschedule visit to agree a new schedule, or the available request-cancellation action when the request no longer applies. Confirm how the change will be communicated.

If an email cannot be sent

Check the recipient, saved schedule, and the reason shown in the app. A queued email is not confirmation that the recipient has read it. Review job activity for recorded communication events, and confirm important last-minute arrangements directly with the customer if needed.
