Jobs
Jobs
A job brings together the client, location, contact, instructions, scheduled visits, and records of the work. You can leave it unscheduled, book one or more visits, or set up repeating work.
Start a job from the create (+) menu or continue from a client or related document. Use Jobs to review the calendar and find existing work.
Understand the three parts
| Part | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Job | The work you need to carry out, with its own status and records. |
| Visit | A scheduled attendance for that job. A one-off job can have several visits. |
| Project | The related jobs, quotes, invoices, credit notes, and expenses for a piece of client work. |
Completing a job does not automatically send an invoice or close every record in its project. Projects within a job explains how to continue the work without losing its context.
