Projects
A project connects the records for a piece of client work. For example, a lead can result in a quote, a job, an invoice, and related expenses. Each record keeps its own status while the project helps you follow them together.
You do not need to start from a separate project-management list. In the mobile app, project information appears inside the records that belong to the work.
Where projects appear
Jobs, quotes, invoices, and credit notes can show the shared project view. It contains connected documents and, when a project is available, expenses and a financial summary. Leads also use the connected-documents panel for their related work; they do not necessarily show the full financial view.
A document may show its own project context while you are viewing another stage of the workflow. The cards are links to the same records, not copies made for each screen.
Use the project
- Open a saved job or document and move to its project section.
- Open related cards to inspect the work and its status.
- Choose Add Document when creating the next related record.
- Review linked expenses and the financial summary as work progresses.
Creating unrelated work from a general create menu does not mean it belongs to the same project merely because the client is the same. Continue from the relevant project when you want the connection carried forward.
