Quote settings
Open Quote Settings in the mobile app to manage the wording used when preparing quotes.
| Setting | Where it is used |
|---|---|
| Note | Added automatically as a starting point for new quotes. |
| Terms & Conditions | Shown as a separate page on quotes. |
| Footer disclaimer | Controls the standard disclaimer in the Classic quote footer. |
Default note and terms
Open Note or Terms & Conditions, edit the text, and save. Review those defaults in each new quote and adjust its wording before issue when the work needs different details.
The note can explain details the client needs alongside the proposed work. Terms and conditions have their own section. Check the preview for the complete document the client will receive.
Updating a business default does not rewrite an already-issued quote. For a changed proposal, see Manage quote status.
Footer disclaimer
The standard disclaimer explains that additional work, scope changes, unforeseen site conditions, or client-requested variations may require a revised quote and additional charges.
With Footer disclaimer enabled, it appears in the footer of each content page of the Classic quote PDF. It is separate from the terms and conditions page. Open the information control beside the setting to read its wording.
The setting applies to previews and unissued quotes. Issued PDFs retain the setting used when issued. Turn it off if you prefer to use only your own terms, then review the next preview.
Choices made on each quote
Select Expiry, Payment Terms, the recipient, tax treatment, and discounts in the quote editor. The settings above provide reusable wording; they do not record acceptance or schedule the job.
See Create and edit quotes for preparation and Preview, issue, and send for the final review.
