Quotes

Quotes

Quotes describe proposed work and pricing before your client agrees to proceed. In TREVY, you can prepare a draft, review the document, issue it with or without an email, and track the client's decision.

From proposal to approved work

  1. Create a quote and select the client.
  2. Add the work, quantities, prices, tax, and any discount.
  3. Check the expiry, payment wording, note, and terms.
  4. Preview the quote, then save a draft or issue it. Review the email if you are sending it now.
  5. Follow the client's decision, or record their decision in the mobile app when they respond elsewhere.
  6. Use the project panel to create the related job or invoice when you are ready.

Issuing, delivering, accepting, scheduling, and invoicing are separate actions. Acceptance records approval of the quote; it does not collect a payment or automatically complete the next step of your work.
