Preview, issue, and send quotes

Before issuing, check the client, scope, quantities, prices, discounts, tax, total, expiry date, payment wording, note, and terms in the preview.

TREVY validates the quote before opening the preview. Resolve required corrections and read any findings you are asked to acknowledge. The preview is also your chance to spot unclear descriptions or missing work.

ActionResult
Save DraftSaves the quote for later without issuing or emailing it.
Issue Quote, with Send Email offFinalises the quote without emailing a copy.
Review Email, with Send Email onOpens the email review before you confirm issue and sending.

The final number and acceptance window are set when the quote is issued. An issued quote is not necessarily delivered or accepted.

Send an issued quote later

For an issued quote that has not already been emailed, use Actions → Send Quote. Check Recipient Email before continuing. The recipient can be changed on an eligible unsent quote; review it rather than assuming it is the right person for this job.

In the send sheet, choose email delivery and review the message, or mark the quote as sent manually after you have delivered it yourself. Marking it sent records that delivery without emailing another copy. The flow still requires a valid recipient email.

Send Quote depends on the quote's status and email history. It is not a resend control for every saved quote.

Share or download

Open the saved quote's Actions and choose Share PDF to send the PDF through another app, or Download PDF to save or open it on your phone.

Downloading does not deliver the quote, and sharing does not record acceptance. If the client responds outside TREVY, record their decision after confirming it with them.

If issue or delivery is interrupted

Check the result and the existing quote before repeating the action. Issue can succeed even if a later email step fails. Look for the saved number, status, and activity rather than creating another quote to retry delivery.

If Send Quote remains available, check the recipient and try sending the existing record. If the preview fails to load, use its retry option before confirming issue.

The client decision guide explains the online review and response flow. Sending a quote does not guarantee that the client has opened or agreed to it.
