Invoices

Invoices

Invoices bring together what you are charging, when payment is due, how the client can pay, and the payments or credits already applied. You can prepare a draft on your phone, review the document, and issue it with or without an email.

From work to payment

  1. Create an invoice, or start one from the connected work's project panel.
  2. Select the client and check the items, currency, tax, discounts, and payment terms.
  3. Add payment instructions and any money already received or available client credit.
  4. Preview the invoice, then save a draft or issue it. Review the email if you are sending a copy.
  5. Track the balance and record payments received outside TREVY. Successful Stripe payments are recorded through the integration.

Issuing finalises an invoice. Emailing delivers a copy. Recording a payment updates the amount collected. These are separate steps: an issued invoice is not necessarily sent or paid.
