Price Book

Reorder prices

A custom order lets you keep frequently used prices near the top of your Price Book. This is useful when your list contains many services or materials and you want to find the common ones quickly while preparing documents.

Change the company list order

  1. Open Price Book from the mobile app's settings menu.
  2. Select Active and close or clear any search so you can see the items you want to arrange.
  3. Tap the sort control until it shows the custom-order drag icon instead of an up or down arrow.
  4. Press and hold an item and drag it to its new position.
  5. Release it and wait for the order to save.

The move saves as you reorder; there is no separate Save button for the list. If saving fails, the list refreshes to the saved order. Check your connection and try the move again.

Custom order versus sorting

The up and down arrows select ascending or descending sorting. Custom order uses the positions you set by dragging. Switching to another sort mode changes how the list is displayed without replacing your saved custom order.

Drag reordering is available in custom-order mode. If you cannot move an item, check the sort control first.

Order in document pickers

When you browse without a search, quote and invoice price pickers use custom order. Search results show matching prices with newer entries first within each client or company group. Reordering is disabled inside those pickers, so arrange company prices in the main Price Book list first.

For a selected client, that client's saved prices appear before company-wide prices. Client prices and company prices are separate groups; you cannot drag a company price into a client group to change who it belongs to.

Reordering the Price Book does not rearrange lines already added to a quote or invoice. Review the line order on the document itself before sending it.
