Founder status

The TREVY Founder program is for approved Australian businesses. Founder status gives you three free calendar months of TREVY Core and 50% off the then-current standard Core price for as long as you remain a Founder, on eligible charges. Read the full Founder Program Terms and the program overview at /founders.

Apply to the program

Applications are made on the TREVY website at /founders. You confirm that your business operates in Australia, and you accept the Founder Program Terms and the Privacy Policy when you apply. The TREVY team reviews each application, and applications can be paused from time to time.

While your application is being reviewed, avoid starting a free trial or Core subscription anywhere in TREVY. A subscription started before your Founder place is connected can delay when your free months begin.

You need a TREVY account first. Create it in the mobile app, then the Founder place is connected to your account once it is approved and your email is verified.

Understand Founder states

When a Founder place is connected, the app and web show one of these states:

  • Waiting for billing: your Founder place is connected, but your free months have not started because the billing account already has paid Core access. This includes an active or trialling subscription, a cancelled subscription that still has time left, an open billing conflict, or a purchase still being confirmed. Your free months begin automatically after that access ends. A subscription that keeps renewing keeps postponing the start.
  • Active: your three free calendar months are running, and the app shows the date they end.
  • Expired: your three free months have ended. Your Founder offer stays linked to the account and your Founder pricing remains protected.

An existing subscription is not cancelled, paused, refunded, or repriced when your Founder place connects. Your paid access and the free months run in the order the app describes.

The three free months

The free period lasts three calendar months. TREVY calculates whole months rather than a fixed number of days, so a start near the end of a month adjusts in the same way calendar months do.

Nothing starts or charges automatically. When the free months end, Core access simply stops unless you choose to subscribe. The app shows when the free period ends, and the Subscription screen explains that you do not need to subscribe while it is active. You can manage your Founder account on the TREVY website.

Founder pricing

Founder pricing is 50% of the then-current standard Core price, and it applies to eligible covered charges for as long as you are a Founder. Some charges are excluded, such as usage or communications charges, optional add-ons, taxes, and third-party or pass-through costs. The Founder Program Terms define the covered charges in full. Because the discount is calculated from the standard price at the time, TREVY does not publish a fixed Founder price in these guides. Use the TREVY pricing page as the reference for the current standard price.

Manage Founder billing on the web

Founder pricing is available only through the TREVY website. Founder Core is not sold or managed through the App Store or Google Play, and TREVY blocks in-app store purchases for Founder accounts so that your Founder pricing stays protected. If you take up a paid Founder subscription, you start and manage it on the website rather than in the mobile app:

  • Sign in on the website with the Founder billing login to reach the web Billing page.
  • Start or renew Core at Founder pricing, update your payment method, cancel, or reactivate there.
  • The mobile app does not offer a store purchase or store management option for a Founder account, because the app stores cannot apply Founder pricing.

Plan switching between plans is not available.

If your free months have ended, the Subscription screen and web Billing page still recognise your Founder status and explain how to continue. If you delete your TREVY account, your Founder grant is retired and your eligibility is locked unless TREVY support restores it.

Founder check-ins

The program includes two short, optional check-ins so the TREVY team can learn from real use:

  • 30-day check-in, which becomes available about a month into the free period.
  • Final check-in, which becomes available before the free period ends.

TREVY emails each check-in to your account email, and each one opens on the TREVY website through a secure link. The Founder screen in the mobile app shows the date each check-in becomes available and lets you open one that is ready. Feedback is optional and never affects your Founder benefits, and you can opt out of the emails if you prefer.

The Founder screen in the app

Open Founder from the Founder card on Home. The screen shows your access status, the date your free months end, and your check-ins, along with Leave feedback now, which opens TREVY Support, and Founder Program Terms. The app will show that the dashboard is unavailable if your free period is not currently active.

If you also hold a paid subscription while Founder free access is reported as active, the web Billing page warns that both are being reported and asks you to contact TREVY support. If an admin override is also active on the account, that override takes precedence as the access source, and your paid subscription is left unchanged.

If you have not yet subscribed and want to understand what a paid plan includes, see Plans and trials and Manage your subscription.
