Subscription

Manage your subscription

TREVY Core can be billed through the App Store, Google Play, or the TREVY website using Stripe. The provider that owns a purchase controls its billing changes, receipts, refunds, and payment methods. This guide explains how to find your provider and what you can change from the mobile app or the web Billing page.

Only the billing owner can manage billing. If you are a team member, TREVY tells you that subscription changes are managed by the company owner and hides purchase and cancellation actions.

Find your billing provider

The Subscription screen shows your plan, its status, and the date access renews or ends. The web Billing page adds a Billing source. Your provider is one of the following:

  • App Store or Google Play: a subscription bought in the mobile app.
  • Stripe (shown as TREVY billing): a subscription bought on the TREVY website.
  • Founder: Core access through the Founder program. Founder free months and any paid Founder pricing are managed on the TREVY website, not in the app stores. See Founder status.
  • Admin override: Core access granted by TREVY support, independent of any provider.

Purchase Core in the mobile app

Purchasing in the app is handled by the store and charged to your store account. The app offers a Subscribe or Start Free Trial button when all of the following are true:

  • You are the billing owner.
  • The account does not already have Core access.
  • There is no admin override, no approved Founder status, no purchase in progress, and no open billing conflict.
  • The store reports a price for your account.

If pricing cannot load, the app shows Unable to load pricing with a Retry button. If the store itself is unavailable, it asks you to sign in to the App Store or Google Play and make sure it is up to date. TREVY cannot complete a store purchase on your behalf while the store is unavailable.

Founder accounts do not see store purchase options at all. If Founder pricing applies to you, Core must be purchased on the TREVY website, because the App Store and Google Play cannot apply Founder pricing. See Founder status.

Purchase Core on the web

On the web Billing page, Subscribe on the web starts a secure Stripe Checkout session. This is also where approved Founders buy Core at Founder pricing, because store purchases use the standard price.

A 7-day trial is offered on the web only when the billing account has no previous Core subscription history. Otherwise checkout starts as a paid subscription. Plan switching between plans is not available.

Manage or cancel

What you can change depends on the provider:

  • App Store or Google Play: select Manage Subscription in the app to open the store's subscription settings. Cancel, change, or reactivate the subscription there.
  • Stripe: select Manage Stripe subscription on the web Billing page to open Stripe's secure billing portal, where you can cancel, reactivate, or update your payment method.
  • Founder: a paid Founder subscription is billed through Stripe on the TREVY website, so you manage or cancel it there. Founder free access has no paid subscription to cancel. See Founder status.
  • Admin override: there is no paid subscription to cancel. TREVY support manages the override.

When you cancel, access usually continues until the paid period ends. The app shows Canceled with an Access ends date, and you can resubscribe before or after that date. TREVY cannot cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription for you, and it cannot issue refunds for store purchases, because the store controls them.

Access notices you may see

The card explains unusual situations rather than hiding them:

  • Billing conflict: TREVY detected subscriptions from more than one billing provider. Core access stays active while TREVY support resolves the conflict, and new purchases are unavailable until then. Contact TREVY Support if you see this.
  • Purchase pending: a purchase is being confirmed. Wait a moment and refresh, rather than starting another purchase.
  • Internal override: Core access was granted by TREVY support without a normal subscription. New purchases are unavailable while the override is active, and the card shows an expiry date if one is set.
  • Managed by the company owner: you are signed in as a member rather than the billing owner.

Troubleshooting

If your subscription looks out of date:

  1. Pull down to refresh the Subscription screen, or reload the web Billing page.
  2. Confirm you are signed in to the same TREVY account that owns the billing.
  3. If you just changed something in the store or Stripe, return to the app and give it a moment to refresh from the provider.
  4. If the card reports Billing Issue or Store Unavailable, follow the on-screen message before trying again.

If a charge, refund, or subscription state still looks wrong after these steps, contact TREVY Support from the app. Include your account email and the provider (App Store, Google Play, or Stripe) so the team can investigate quickly.

For the free months and protected pricing available to approved Founders, continue with Founder status.
